So, the oil is dripping back right where the starter bolts in. Is that more than likely a rear main seal??? What else should I be looking for back there?

When mine was leaking in that area it was the oil dipstick fitting in the side of the oil pan...

The valley is not completely dry, but only a small spot by the banjo bolt. The dipstick connection is good--completely dry. It does seem to be coming from the back of the head on the passenger side. Where is that fitting for the hpo rail?

Wellrooted, I just had my HPOP rail plug replaced on the drivers side. I took it to the shop, cuase it was only 130.00 installed, and could not break it loose with the 1/2 in driver socket. It is like 17.00 from International, and on the pass side, I might think the downpipe has to be moved a little to get in there. Good luck, and if not for The Diesel Stop advice, I would have just continued to mark. " PowerStrokes do not leak, they just mark their territory!!!
