[Gummy]

I was under my truck today and noticed oil at the rear corner of the motor on the drivers side. What are the likely suspects for this leak? Would it be easy to fix myself? Truck is an 2004 6.0 F-250. Thanks for any help/advice.

Check the Cam Position sensor (CMP). Here is it's location:

It's on the front of the engine and is a known leaker. When it leaks, oil will flow towards the back of the engine.

Another source could also be the glow plug bus bar.

Recently had an oil leak and luckily it was the ICP and not the oil pump.
