Getting ready to change a rotted out oil pan on an 04 f-450 6.0. Any tips or tricks from somebody thats done one? I have done some on the 7.3s and i can't even imagine it being worse than that, so i hope its not.
Oil pan?

Ok well it turned out to be pretty easy if anybody was wondering. Removed the fan shroud, transmission lines, motor mount nuts, and jacked the engine up about two inches or so. With a nice 1/4" drive set i was able to get all the bolts out and drop the pan. Reached in an unscrewed the 2 bolts for the pick up tube and the pan came right out.
