hope i dont sound stupid but what do you get by installing this on 7.3?

if you have bigger injectors, you most likely will run out of HPO(high pressure oil) to move your injectors at high RPM's. these bigger HPOP(high pressure oil pumps) have enough and then some to supply the bigger injectors with all the oil they want. trucks with stock injectors can also benefit from these HPOP's. result-more HP/TQ.

On the list and first at that, we will be installing a system on Sapps truck Friday evening and with that do a install write up and get pictures for everyone with it sitting on a bench and finished installed. Craig drives his truck a bunch while hauling a big arse trailer around so it will be a good test for power and longjevity.

I'll be posting some results with stock injectors as soon as I get mine installed hope fully next week /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif.

Kai,

When do you plan on adding the injectors and turbo listed at the bottom of your sig? Curious about what kind of numbers you are going to get. I am interested in the same setup if I don't have to get the forged rods. Do you plan on getting forged rods with this setup? If I figure I will need to get them I am going to just stick with the Stage II injectors, seem to be a safer setup. What you think?

Can't wait to hear about the results with the new HPOP. Keep us posted.

Swagg, The injectors should follow by a couple of weeks, and then the turbo soon after that. I am going to have Jody set me up with some custom tuning asap. We shall see how the pmr's hold up, hope fully long enuogh to get the short block I have sitting in my garage done.

Sounds like a plan. Keep us posted on your results. When you say stage 2.5's are those Bean's single shots or the split shot hybrids listed on his site?

Beans Stage II.5's are single shot PSD injectors that are very similar to his regular stage II's but have been machined for slightly more stroke to achieve a higher CC of fuel. So, they are NOT hybrids. the flow rating on them is around 188cc's on average if I remember correctly. Bean told me that he could probably get 200cc out of them with a little extra machining. With some extra cost parts and maybe more machining, you could get 250CC. I think these could be a a potentially great set of injectors for a Dual HPOP set-up.

Thanks for the info. Trying to learn a alot about injectors before I make the purchase. It seems a lot of sponsors sell their own setups, and are very confident in their product. So I figure the only way to find out what is best for me is to ask a lot of questions. I just don't want to second guess my choice of injectors after I purchase them. They are just too expensive to try again on, you know what I mean? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The second pump is inline with the first pump with an adpater plate between them. Its a bit confusing but I will have some pics up sometime this week for a visual. There will only be one IPR used and one line fed to each head, one pump feeds one side the other pump feeds the other side. I HX kit would be good for it to even any pressures out.

Bean, does the stealth pump retain the original factory pump as the first pump or use two proprietary pumps?
