I posted in the other category, sorry if I'm over posting or breaking a rule.
Just want to get as many suggestions on digital gauges as possible.
I have looked at the usual companies-Autometer, ect.
Any info is appreciated.

"Search" is your friend. You are not the first person here looking for digital gauges so there's lots of prior threads on all the various products and options. Also, be aware that your choice is highly dependant on your engine size/type, as later year trucks have more and more digital information available directly from the OBDII port.

Also: if you do your research, you'll be less likely to be steered potentially the wrong way by a "post du jour".

I have searched this site, researched and researched, been on the other sites, ect.
Just want to see if someone suggests something I don't know about.
That's the interesting thing about info and technology, its constantly changing, or improving.

Wouldn't getting up to date info be better than reading a old- "post du jour".
Where now that several people have tried a product, be it a day or 10 years, and can suggest based on that experience. Or say here's what I found.

That's all I'm interested in.

Dad has a digital boost gauge. Mine are mechanical. His can read a little boost when the engine is off, mine doesn't. I would suppose it is because he is using a MAP sensor to get the numbers.

ScanGauge2 for about $150 is about as inexpensive as you can go. Provides a lot of useful information. Reads codes and clears the CEL too. Plugs right up into your OBD2 port. Next step up would be the Edge Insight.

Thanks for the info so far.
I have looked at a few monitors also.
Just want to see what anyone suggests, and my options.

Anyone else?

Aeroforce Scan Gauge,

A good option for multiple parameters and has capability to run system tests, and pull codes.

Thanks Ken, I'm assuming your name is Ken.
Something like that is what I'm looking toward.
Trying to make a informed decision.

Yep, that is my name:thumbsup:

Be aware of digital gauges versus analog gauges. Many people find it much easier and safer to use analog gauges as they are easier to read at a glance. Sometimes digital gauges take a little extra time to comprehend when running down the road. The Aeroforce is a good example, if you have it set to cycle through the parameters the numbers are fairly easy to read, but the descriptions are a little harder without taking your eyes off the road a bit longer. Also bright sun can wash out a digital gauge worse than an analog gauge. Just some things to think about.

That's why I would like all three separate.
But a gauge like that Aeroforce consolidates them plus all the other features.
Ahh, decisions decisions.
