Couple of burn marks. If you don't think those tires can get warm, just check out how defined those tread marks are! That was sitting still and letting off in the same spot (no forward travel). Couldn't really make long ones as there's a fence right there.

Just showin' my ass a little to some new 18 year olds workin' at the shop. They wanted a video for their camera phone.

Looks like you left about 10,000 miles in that pile of rubber. I assume you were powerbraking???

Yep, no room to let it do it w/o.

Brings me to another question. Almost time for new tires. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif I want mudgrips again. Any reccomendations? I've got Goodyear MT/R's right now and I like them ok. They will be used in mud and also towing heavy loads.

I do that occasionally with my dually, but can never leave a really good dark line, the tires grip too well and I cant hold it back with the front brakes.

The duallies have less ground pressure, so it's gonna take longer to get the rubber hot as it's not digging into the ground like a SRW.

My problem is I cant hold the bugger still long enough to get them hot, it strats to push past my front brake holding pressure, and if I push harder on the brakes then I start to bog down, my brakes are pretty well balanced. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

Try backing out of the pedal once they break loose. I don't keep mine floored while doing that; probably around half throttle.
