Even though my new F450 is still in transit I went ahead and ordered a Fumoto SX series drain valve.

My truck has made it by rail from Kentucky to Washington. Only a few more days until it reaches the most excellent dealer I ordered it from.

By the way, the Fumoto website is not clear as to whether the SX valve comes with the valve lock clip or not. It does.

I had one on the previous truck and had zero issues with it. It did make the oil drain a little slower, but I never stayed under the truck to watch it.
