I am going to order the Black Maxx turner with KEM tunes and doc/dpf delete pipe next week and I would like to find out some info first. I have a 2008 F350 6.4L and it has never been modified to improve the performance. I may buy 2 units, if I can convence my father he needs one also.

1) i see about 5 websites that sell the black maxx w/kem tunes, where did you buy it from? First I want great service before and after I buy it, and second a good price.
2) if i tow the max load, what tune/HP can I safely use?
3) with the KEM tunes, do I need to download the H&S trans tunes?

I know there is more questions but I can't think right now, it has been hot in South Carolina today, and now my brain is running slow.
Thanks for the help and your time. :read:

On a stock fuel pump, I would think the KEM tunes would be wasted money. The H&S 250 tunes sometimes dyno out higher than the 300+ tunes on the stock pump. Especially with the stock 3.5" pipe, I think your EGT is going to limit you badly. Just my $.02.

Aren't the KEM tunes rated at +345hp?
I got my Black Maxx in a package deal with a Diamond Eye 5" turbo back exhaust all for $1500 from The Power Shop. They are great guys. I think the tuner itself with H&S tunes was just over $1k. That's $300 cheaper than H&S direct. Give them a call, they'll hook you up.

i copied this from KEM website, "Now you can get the KEM Performance special edition SD card for your H&S product that includes ALL of these power levels: 75, 150, 210, 250, 275, 310, and the 345!"

I am assuming the 75hp thru 345hp is the KEM tunes and H&S tunes were stock, 40, 80, and 120hp.

Also I checked thepowershop.com but they do not sell the H&S turners on the website, they may have stopped with them.

I bought a black maxx, dpf/cat delete and a S & B intake from performance truck products. I love the setup. I just returned from a trip that totaled 2000 miles pulling my 9000 lbs fifth wheel. I ran the 80 hp program most of the way, but tried the 160 hp. I love my 6.4 now. It ran great and the beauty of the black maxx is you can monitor four different parameters at a time. I don't know anything about the KEM programs.

One thing I forgot to add, Performance Truck Products and H & S were very helpful with all the questions I asked after the sell.

I believe the H&S tunes are Stock, 40, 80, and 120 with the DPF.

And Stock, 80, 160, 250 without.

They also offer the Hot 300 tune for free on the site.

250 is PLENTY for me. I run 80 most of the time and even that is a kick on the pants.

The power shop should have them. I just bought mine a week ago from them.

This is the powershopw in Enumclaw, WA?
Yep. That's it.
Also, the H&S DPF delete tunes are 80, 160, and 250hp. And you can download the new Hot Damn tunes rated at +40, 125, 225, 300hp. The best part is that they are all free downloads.
