I just installed a new EBP valve in my 2005 6.0 code cleared for a few days and has returned, here is my question, i turn the key on and clear the code, i then check for codes right away without starting the engine, the code is still there? i start engine and have no check engine light, turn off and restart check engine light is on and code p0472 is the culprit???? i guess i will check the pig tail as i installed a new one a few years back.

Have you had any headgasket problems? The degas bottle is right above it and dumps on the pigtail when it spews, so check the pigtail.

Thanks, the pigtail is clean and uncorroded, i have another EBPV on the way.

I have cleared that code at least 3 times my self since 2005 after a new EBP was installed

U could have a bad chip in ur pcm module

Installed new EBP valve cleared code and all seems fine again, hope to stay that way, i dont think a bad chip is the problem, maybe a loose nut possibly
