We need more information! Year of truck, year of engine (if different), and modifications such as tuner, chip, etc. Here are some pinpoint tests for P1211. Cheers!

Also. Are you using TRUE Motorcraft sensors from a trusted source?

If using an 02 HPOP on a 95, you will have reservoir oil drainback issues causing the long hard starts. You also may have air in the system after pump changeouts causing extended cranking until air gets worked out. Also, make sure you have the correct HPOP gasket for a 95. Cheers!

truck starts fine now.. after a few secs the cel light comes on then the idle goes up and it has a miss…. By any chance you ever seen or heard of the return lines from the hpop collapsing ?

Does the CEL come on when it does this? All the oil used in the HP Oil system returns back to the oil pan (there are no return hoses). The hoses connected to the HPOP are supply hoses under pressure. Cheers!

I don't know which gasket you should use since you wouldn't use an 02 HPOP on a 95 engine due to drainback . The comment on the gasket was to make sure you're using the correct gasket for a 95 engine and HPOP. Cheers!
