Hello everyone. Thanks for all the help you've given me over the years just from reading the threads on here. I can't find the answer to this one, despite my searches.
2006 F-350 Crew Cab Dually, 6.0, Auto. 150,000 miles (yeah, no warranty help here)
Truck started becoming harder to start over the past few days. Cranks, acts like it will start, even might start for a few seconds, then dies. Good fuel, good filters. Recently changed oil. Fuel pressure enough to bubble/spray fuel at the upper fuel filter.
Now it shows a P2617 code saying "Crankshaft position sensor circuit output open" or something similar, and won't do much but sputter. I'm use a $300 scan tool from O'reilly's, so maybe it isn't giving me accurate info, but it has been accurate in past.
Can anyone help me?
