How about changing the default page that comes up in multipage topics from the first (oldest) to the last (most recent). Most people following these topics are interested in the lastest stuff, and are always inconvenienced by having to load the oldest page first, then select the last page to see the nwest additions. Why not just start with the newest stuff, and whoever isn't as up to date (the minority, I'd estimate), can just go backwards if need be?
