Haven't thought about it too seriously, but has anyone painted their SuperDuty CrewCab a different color from the factory or have any guestimates just how pricey this would be with a color change?

Yes I did. Went from Torreador red to black with flames.....my job would have been in the 8-10k range.....

It is going to vary, I would say sbout 5-6k to do a complete color swap. To do it right the WHOLE truk needs stripped down. Remove all headlights, windows, mouldings, bed, bumpers and such. You can save a bit of money if you so the teardown.

Bodywork(if needed) will be more, and some colors may be more.

I would plan around 6k for a quality job and that should be pretty close.

I was thinking it would be somewhere around 6K or so, thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! I'm having some buyers remorse about the color truck I just bought (love the truck itself, just second thoughts about the color), but don't think trading it in after a month is practical either /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
