My 05 is oxford white and I was wondering if it is a single stage paint or base/clear. I've heard that ALL white paints from all manufacturers are only single stage. Is this true for an 05 ford?

Not true. The full name of your paint is "Oxford White Clearcoat", paint code Z1.
