On my truck, my parking brake has never really worked great. When I had my brakes replaced, they said the parking brake was fine. I noticed there is no adjusment on the cable like a bike brake, do I need a new cable, or is there something to adjust inside of the hub?

The parking brake is a drum brake inside the rotor, if you look on the inside of the rear wheel, you will see a rubber plug right by the axle housing, remove it and there is a star wheel, turn that to adjust. Jack up vehicle, adjust until you can feel drag, back off until no drag. Repeat on other wheel.

I often get stuff from a website called rockauto.com. They have quite a bit of stuff and is considerably cheaper then the stealerships.
