I don't know the part #, but all you have to ask for is the upper radiator hose for a 99' /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

 

Gates has 2 one is called the "perferred" upper hose thats what you want, i had to pull the engine on a early 99 and the hose it called for was the one that goes through the belt. they list both hoses for everything 99-03

the hose is only like $10. If you go to Orielly, and Advanced and Autozones web sites (whatever you have) they list the hoses (you want the one called preferred) and there sites tell you if your store has one. I like dealing with powerstrokeshop but I'm not paying shipping and waiting three or four days for something I can run down to the corner and get.

When going to the upper hose that goes around the belt. Are any other mods needed to make sure that it does not rub on the belt?

You'll notice that there is already a cradle built into the casting of the alternator/powersteering mounting bracket for the duel alternator style hose to lay in. You just need to put a wire tie or a large hose clamp around the hose and that feature in the bracket and you're good to go.
