Hi guys new here have a late 99 and I want to swap pcm to newer model have auto and 4x4 all stock as far as I can tell owned it for year last owner was snow plow user and pcm has some ugly shifts to say least of my reasons for a swap could some one tell me if this one would be drop in for my xle4 that I have now ENGINE COMPUTER 1C2Z-12A650-AFE ? thanks for any advice there are lots of # to sort threw to know if this would plug and play

That PCM lists for a E series van. Not sure if it'll work. But I do know for sure that you can use a PMT0, PMT1, PMT2 or PMT3 PCM's which are model types DPC-422. The XLE4 thru XLE8 PCM's are model types DPC-402.
The PMT0 and 1,2,3 PCM were the best programmed units out there for the 99-00 years. I have a PMT1 in my truck.

I got mine thru car-part.com, look for engine computer 1C3F-ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD, which is for a PMT0, 1, 2, 3, respectively. You might have to search F250, F350 and so on as the search engine might not list them all. I paid $150, for my PMT1.

I found a ecm for my late 99 but it is 462 instead of 422 runs nice other than the water light stays on any one know where I could get this reprogramed to work with my truck at fair price thanks
