[Diesel Tom]

I am a newbe with a recently purchased 2002 F250 7.3 with a transmission problem. It seems to be the torque converter as large metal pieces are blocking the cooling lines. I have cleaned them and it repeats the overheating in a very few miles. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a particular performance rebuild kit. I am going to rebuild it myself, reluctantly. Thanks ( This is my first post on anything, hope I did it correctly)

Welcome to TDS. If you're wanting to rebuild the entire tranny yourself, take some pictures along the way and share them with the rest of us.

I'd call Bill at Racer-X automotive. He can sell you a rebuild kit with whatever upgrades you desire.

And you did fine for a first post, or any post for that matter.
