Have an '04 Excursion that from time to time will leave a small puddle of coolant on the ground. I have not been able to narrow down the situation as it always seems to be different scenarios when it happens. The latest the truck sat overnight not plugged in (-18 overnight) so didn't even bother trying to start it and got a ride to work. Got home after work and about a half gallon was gone and when I opened the cap to refill was still pressurized. Been under the truck to see where it's coming from but haven't been able to find the smoking gun yet.

This only happens every two weeks or so so been difficult to try to find the source. Anybody have anything like this happen to them?

Sounds like either the o ring between the water pump and intake manifold or maybe the egr cooler hose. When orings get old they tend to leak cold.
