I thought all pitman arms and steering sector shafts had a blind spline to prevent mistakes like that. :shrug03:

I don't think you'd have enough adjustment in the drag link to safely make up for the difference. If you don't have enough threads engaged in the adjustment sleeve, it might let go and you'd loose all steering.

I would remove the pitman arm and redo it.

X2 remove and do it the right way. Also to make sure that you didn't damage anything because as KL said, i Also though that you should have a notch bigger than the rest to align everything the right way

There is an alignment spline but enough force and I suppose you could get it on wrong.
