If you start looking you might find a dozen more plugs that have nothing plugged into them.

It is possible that the plug that you found was for the premium sound or radio amplifier that your van might not have.

It would help if you included a list of the wire colors, and maybe a good photo.

The premium sound connectors are only on the amplifier harness, so they won't be there if the vehicle doesn't have premium sound.

In Pic looks like 4 wires & slots ; yllw w/red tracer, Blu w/wht tracer, red w/wht tracer,
green w/wht tracer.
On edit: IIRC I had one laying in there also, cant remember if its the radio power feed or an extra plug in. I do remember someone saying they hooked up a "pie adapter" connector for some kind of sound system or video hanging from ceiling. (Instead of using RF signal, I think) The guy said the dealership didn't even know it existed. Maybe I can find the posting. Something about using the existing factory radio button function in a sequence way no one seemed to know it existed.

here is something http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/f14/radio-30633/
The van poster had all captains chairs on both sides all the way to the rear with an isle in the center. Looks like carringb has this but his van looks dark colored in avatar. I thought the other poster I'm thinking of had a white van & was out west like Utah? & he was the one that discovered pressing the radio button in a sequence to make some other function. Sorry I'm not much help in the electronics area.
