i dont know anything about a PMT but I have an Edge/Attitude in my 03 6.0 and have had for a couple years. I put it in at around 85K and now have 140+K on my truck. I have been happy with it. It provided a modest boost in HP for towing and 2 + MPG when towing but nothing significant when empty. I get 16.5 running around empty and 18.5 on the hightway empty as long as I dont push it over 75mph.

I am not a racer, only had it on setting 4 a couple times just to see what it was like and 5 down throttles so much it was kind of a waste to me so I never used it again.

I use my truck everyday and cannot afford to tear it up so i just liked the extra little umph for towing that seems easier on the truck. I run it on setting 1 90% of the time, 2 or 3 when towing heavy loads.

You can see the mods I put on my truck in my signature. It runs great, no complaints. I guess it all depends on what you are wanting to do, race it or use it.

Id go with SCT personally. the difference with the out of the box tuners and SCT is that they will get the power to the ground and I havent really seen a out of the box tuner that will do that. I had banks for a while, itclaimed to make 140 HP and I got a 0-60 time of average about 8.0. on the tow tune I was seeing a 0-60 time of 7.5 with only 75 hp claimed. on average from the sct tuner and needless to say on the race tune with the torque covnerter locked it is much less. also SCT custom tunes will support other major mods like turbo nitros and injectors better. Eric at innovative diesel writes a nice tune, just my opinion Also, these tunes seem to keep the transmission alive longest too
