Popping inside front, driver side wheel

I have a 'popping' problem on my 2004 that is inside my driver's side front wheel. When in a 'bind' there is knocking between rotor and brake pad and/or caliper while bouncing on the front end. Then, when I take off, there is a mechanical pop that can be heard. Does not happen every time.

Dealer has been unable to fix as of now, so curious if anyone else has similar problem and if so, what was the fix.
