Today I had the Cooling system flushed. I'm friends with a shop owner who has a coolant exchanger in his shop, heres how we did it, what do you think? The machine basicly pushes fluid in though the upper rad hose and though the themostat in reverse, engine and heater core, then though the radator and back out the upper outlet of the radator and back into the collection tank. First disconnected the upper rad hose and placed in the fittings. We flushed 8 gals of tap water though the system. Next we flushed 14 gals of distiled water though. Next we pumped in 4 gal of Zyrtex gold GO5. Replaced the upper hose and then filled the clear tank 50/50 mix. I'm going to put on a coolant filter next. Do you think
