Got around to installing my boost gauge in a pillar pod. Didn't have it wired before and now I want to. I put the hot wire in the fuse for the lights, but that has the gauge lit all the time. Can't remember where to go to get the gauge to work with the truck lights.

If I remember right fuse #10 inside the cab is for the instrument panel lamps and will dim the light as well

I might have to double check my work. I used #9 which when pulled killed the lights and door chime. I know all I did on my old truck was stuff the wire behind the push in fuse.

#9 should be for the power point and cigarette lighter.

I don't remember which side I put mine on the #10 fuse but if you have a test light you can check out which side has power with the lights are on and which side goes to the lamps.
