Great, I hit my outside keyless pad and it just buzzed. Them my inside lock button just clicks, the keyless remote on the key ring does nothing. I can't lock the doors or unlock them now. I am getting the electrical gremlins everyone is talking about. HELP!!!! I can live without the reverse sensor but I need to lock the darn thing.

I blew the fuse trying, it seams that they will open but will not lock. I pulled the door panel off and can't see any black wires from a short. It goes in on Monday unless you geniuses have a fix. I guess they can look at the reverse sensors also, I am not going to a dealer, no way no how. found an electrical guy who was highly recomended but if you guys can help me i will give him a head start. Thanks.

Its super easy to fix yourself. The doorlock actuator should be $50-65 from your local dealer and if you can take the door panel off,..you can swap the actuator. It helps to have the new actuator in hand to understand how the old one will pop out. Dont pay the dealer $250 to fix this 15 minute fix.

My drivers door only acts up occasionally as well. Of course all of the other doors come unlocked when I hit the keyless button or keypad, but the drivers door is about 50%. I just unlock it with the key or manually push the button down when I hit lock and it doesn't lock...not that big of a deal. I guess when I have an extra $50 or $60 laying around I'll worry about it.

Dealer wanted like $50 a piece, but when I told him that I was planning on buying 4 and asked if that was the best he could do, he gave them to me for about $37 a piece. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Yeah, I know they cost like $4 to make, but ya gotta pay the cost to be the boss /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

It looks like the passanger rear door was bad, then he shorted the relay for the theft device, he thinks it is fuse protected and I hope he is right, otherwise i need some kind of new module that has to be programed by the dealer because it has something to do with the theft device. I wish i had this answer two days ago, now the dude ordered the relay. He say $50 also.
