Ok i have 3800 miles on my truck and i've had it since December. Never had this before but i was driving about 75 mph for about 40 min and decided to stop and get something to drink. I turned the truck off for 15 minutes before restarting it. Then i restarted it and hit the on ramp to get back on the hwy. I was running about 30mph and gave her 3/4 throttle trying to hit speed when power went way down for about 3 seconds. I let off the gas then applied it again and all was well. Then 2 hours later got back in the truck to drive home. Total drive 1 hour. About 30 mins into the trip i mashed the gas while running about 65 mph just to see if it would accelerate and it did it again. Mashed gas again and same thing once more. Then rest of the way home no problems. It was about 60F and raining outside. I had regened about 50 miles prior to the first incident. Anyone have any ideas. Truck has always ran perfect till this. Also, i drain the fuel line each month as the manual specifies so don't think water is an issue. Please help! Also, i don't have the latest flash on my job 3 yet.

Good Luck, My truck has done the same thing since day one and the stupid azz dealer has no clue how to fix it. If you find out what the problems is/was please advise me so I can tell my dealer what to look for.

someone from a different forum mentioned moisture coming in and that i should go with an aftermarket cold air intake. I'm going to do a little research but if this fixes the problem then i may go this route.

Mine did the same thing. I took it in for an oil change and told them to change the fuel filters. They also took care of my radiator recall. The hesitation hasn't happened since.
