Hi All,

I ordered just a pulley, expecting it to have the bearings which are squeaking louder than hell. No dice... Just a pulley. Where do you guys advise looking for a pulley/pump assembly that includes these bearings?

The bearings are inside the pump; not the pulley. Have you taken the belt off & spun each pulley by hand to check which one is making the noise? Have you tried a mechanic's stethoscope with a long tube in place of the hard probe, with the belt installed & the squeak present?

We sprayed WD40 behind the PS pulley and it silenced it over and over again, just temporarily, but that's how we pinpointed the culprit.

Changed out the pump and the problem is in the rear view mirror now. Thanks for the help guys, and Happy Thanksgiving!
