My power window just went out (drivers front) without warning. Is this a switch or a motor? I'm thinking switch since it just all of a sudden went out. Also , how would I get inside the door cassing without tearing something up?
What year do you have? My son-in-law has a 2001 and the switch went bad on the driver's side from letting the window down a little while driving. I also had a 1997 crew cab F250 and the window motor went bad on the rear driver's side. I replaced it with a rebuilt one from Advance Auto Parts. It was a Bear to replace you have to drill out the large pop rivits. That was the easy part geting the old one out through the opening and getting the new one in was really hard. Hope this helps.
