I just called tousley my stupid orange elbow was never replaced by the po and is ripped and the turbo wheel is a little boogered up so hopefully the rest of the motor is not to bad! Anyway they say the kit includes the replcement for the orange elbow and also another tube? What have u guys done? Or should I just buy the elbow itself from powerstroke elbows and tubing or whatever its called that I have seen people getting them from. The kit is only another 20 dollars more then the elbow itself

The kit that replaces the orange hose updates it to the style that is used on the 99+ years of the enging. That is what I did even before my orange hose started to fail. Others have just bought a black hose from HERE. It just replaces the hose but it is getting closer to the same price as the replacement kit.

Call Dale I at Tymar and order teh hose and an open element intake kit while your at it. Its money well spent.

The factory kit you get from Ford has the newer black hose (much more stout than the flimsy orange one), new breather adapter, bracket, small hose (elbow) to valvecover breather, all clamps, and hardware. The additional stuff is needed as the new black hose routing is slightly different. The kit is worth it in my opinion and is not that bad if you get it from someplace like Tousley (I've used it on both trucks). Here's the part number:
