Hi, I have a 2006 6.0, F350, with 80,000 miles on it. I used the truck all day today and all week with no problems. I went to go back out and when it started it sounded funny and blew white smoke. Checked under the hood and there is no coolant in the reservoir. Do you think it is a blown head gasket or blown EGR cooler? Any thoughts? Thanks

probably an egr cooler but also could be head gaskets, pull the intake hose off at the intake manifold and look down inside of the manifold. if its all wet and cruddy looking inside its probably the egr cooler. its normal to have some oil inside but you should be able to tell that coolant is leaking out on the inside around the egr valve. hope this makes sense??? lol
