So I had a VERY productive weekend this weekend. Amazing what a little motivation will do for you. (namely, I have 25 days left before I go back to WA where I belong!)

WITH PICTURES!!!!

Trans Flush: www.forgotton.net/diesel/transflush/index.htm
Following the instructions found on this site and others. I had to hit up 4 different auto-zones to round up 20 qts of fluid tho!!

Headlight Upgrade harness modification: www.forgotton.net/diesel/headlights/index.htm
First, I upgraded my headlight harness, and then, I upgraded it again!!

Heater Bypass mod: www.forgotton.net/diesel/heaterbypass/index.htm
I havnt noticed a difference personally, but then, maybe I need to run it in something other than MAX all the time. It DOES turn off the heater core tho!!

Various Electronics and Dash pictures: www.forgotton.net/diesel/electronics/index.htm
Why play in the house, I got more toys in my truck now!!

hahah, no, cant come to your house. Im heading WEST. Had enough of the south east.

The lights are the standard APC's found on Ebay. think I paid 150 shipped, new in the box. Aiming sucks, but they are better than my old stockers, and now with the harness and High/Low mod, these should REALLY work good.

I searched before you posted, and found an earlier thread, hoping I deleted before you replied /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

But......What did you install in the projector housings of those APC's?

They certainly do look nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Those APCs are straight out of the box. No modifications to the lights themselves. What I DID modify is to add the upgrade harness, and then I modified the harness to enable the HIGH/LOW on at the same time. I turned the foglights on too just to get all three lit up. The fogs are 100% seperate circuit, and can be turned on whenever the parking lights are on.

OOOOhhh, I didn't realize those were fog lights, I thought they were projector housings of some sort built into the APC headlight assy's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Silly me, I was thinking about popping some little HID's in there /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Actually, I think that might be easier than you realize. I think the fogs are removable. At least, they looked removeable when I installed them. I know they come out enough to change the bulb, but the way they are installed really looks like the whole light assembly removes from the housing, and im sure something else of similar size would be put in its place.
