I have an 06 which I just bought and has had work done to it before me, Heads, 5 inch exhaust and etc
she starts and has a rough idle like a misfire actually smoke stops until I accelerate then is back and I am smelling unburned fuel and if I drive it will not make it around the block without lagging badly and becomes noisier I don't have a code checker I just ordered it today before I send it to the shop any recommendations would be great

could be the FICM having low voltage to the injectors, could be very bad fuel. I feel like these trucks filter very good so I'd lean more towards a FICM. When the reader gets in, if it lets you try read the FICM voltage. should be at 48V. if the code reader doesnt look into the engine look into the torque pro APP with a bluetooth OBD2 adapter if you have an android.
