my first truck pull this year was last night with all the new mods done. but... didn't do that well. pulled 258' 11th place. i couldn't get the tires to spin. i restarted cause i got on it to hard and she started to bounce before 75' restart went better but i could only hit 2700 rpm and no tire spinning. would 33 worn x-terrains be a good tire to run? i have 3 so i could buy 1 more.
and for the record 4-hi 1st gear works well. if you go faster than 26 mph down the track you got something pretty nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

1st gear high range is good? if ya can't spin the tire's it sounds like ya need to drop a gear or get more power /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

you didnt have enough power to pull the gear you were in at the top its rpm range. Drop a gear and you will get the rpm and the spin
