Can anyone help me diagnose a problem with a hydo boost power steering/brake system on a 2001 Chevy 3/4 ton. I don't know if it is the pump or the hydraulic boost system. When I put the brakes on, at rest, the pedal drops near the floor board and pulses and rattles (like it is in antilock mode, but not moving). The steering is hard, despite being power steering and noisy. How do I diagnose and determine which part is faulty.
