I am new to blogging and just joined hoping to learn a thing a two. I have a 2015 F250 6.7 that I am attempting to upgrade the halogen headlights to LEDs. The insert and twist installation was fairly straight forward. The lights are acceptable but reflect some shadow on the low beam. I noticed that the diodes which face opposite sides of each bulb do not align with the forward reflecting surfaces of the head light housing when installed. They appear to face about 45 degrees off. It seems practical that they should face the reflecting surfaces, and that may be the source of the shadow. However, I cannot find a thorough discussion on the subject and the LED manufacturer tech support has not responded. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.
