Do I really have to take the battery out to change the headlight bulb? The Haynes manual doesn't mention it but it looks too tight. Drivers side. Thanks!

It all depends on how big your hands are. The bulb will come out with out removing the battery.

My hands are not huge by anymeans, and it was difficult for me to reach in there. Really it would PROBABLY be faster to pull the battery, then fight getting it in there, (also chancing touching the darn thing with your fingers,,,) Shortening the life of the bulb in doing such they say...

Jees what a job... One hour to replace a bulb. There was so little room I accidentally touched the bulb several times. I wiped it off with alcohol, maybe it'll be ok. I'd hate to have to do that again anytime soon.

Thanks for the quick help.
