Hi guys. I just changed my batteries in my truck. Twas the originals still in it. Afterwards, everything works except the radio. I tried everything and no radio. The clock is there when I press the On/Off/Volume. When I press the phone, the display says "no phone". But otherwise I get nothing. I can't even get in the menu to set the clock. I checked the fuses related to the Amp, Subwoofer, radio, Satellite, etc. I did not see anything in the fused under the hood that could be related. Any ideas?

It's a 2011, AM/FM/Single CD/Satellite. No navigation. It does have Sync. But I can't get to anything. Just the time after pushing the Power button. That's it.

I checked all fuses. All good. Thanks Stuart. John, I called the dealer today, and got the standard answer...I have to bring it in. Which I probably will this weekend. But i did decide to hook up my Forscan tool and see what it would say. I got the following code:
U0253 - Lost communication with accessory protocol interface module.

So, yeah. Sounds like it's related. Any ideas before I take it in??

Well, sometimes it's the easy fixes that work. At the suggestion of someone on "the other" forum, I disconnected the batteries, let 'er sit for a bit, reconnected, and voila. I have radio again. I had to reprogram everything, but that is expected. Just thought I would follow-up with everyone.

Thanks for following up, you will probably help someone else out down the road with your follow up. Sorry I had nothing to offer, I stopped buying new SD's after 2007 plus I rip the factory radios out the day they come home so not too knowledgeable on the OE stuff. Hopefully you have no further issues with it.
