I have a 2009 f350 that I just bought. I didnt notice anything when I bought it but every once in a while it will start squeaking. It is a high pitch squeak that you cant hear with windows up. It does not stop when I engage the breaks and it isnt just on bumps. It almost sounds like a suspension squeak with only small movements like movement of the truck body. It is always random. Need help before I go inszne. Thanks

Is it a squealing noise or a squeaking noise ?
Has it a metallic sound to it ?
Have you some more information.

I had a squeak on the left side for a year or so and turned out to be the side step (running board) rubbing against the sill panel , and only made the noise when i towed and went over corrugated surfaces.

Mine did that and it turned out to be the tailgate. The plastic round things that the tailgate latches to had worn so I just lubed them up with bearing grease. Noise gone.

After some investigation I found it to be a very random item, not anything that I thought it would be. After removing my front wheel and inspecting the breaks, coils, shocks, etc. I noticed my heat shield was rubbing against the brake rotor. So i bent it back away from rotor and have not had it since. Thanks for all of your input.

Well that's good it was something simple as a brake heat shield and nothing that cost money.
