Hi, could use some help!

I have a 2017 F350 KR DRW, 6.7L diesel,.totally stock.

When parked and locked, the hazard lights will randomly come on. I can turn them off with the hazard light switch inside the cab, only to have them turn on again, usually within an hour. On occasion, the running board lights will also randomly come on while the truck is parked and locked. Any ideas what is causing this and what the fix might be?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a 2019 F250 6.2 and about once a week my 4 way flashers and horn go off, I don't have a clue.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order. With all the computer controls on these trucks it may be a simple reflash.
Well, the truck is at the dealer. In doing additional research I found someone with the same problem; caused by weak batteries. They replaced the batteries and all has been well for them. Hope I am as lucky. See what the dealer says!

A reflash is not going to fix that and I am skeptical about the battery as I have never seen or heard of that, but I could be wrong - I haven't "seen it all yet." :p Most of the time when a truck is presented with weird random symptoms that usually involves lighting the root cause is a water leak from the windshield or the roof area and drains down the a-pillar. Water follows the wiring harness and enters the BCM. When the symptoms happen, it does not always correlate with wet or rainy conditions. The damage to the circuitry inside the module eventually becomes permanently damaged and the truck does these odd things continuously. I have also run across corrosion in one or more connectors at the BCM requiring the replacement of a harness.
