Hey everybody, wanted to know how your ford dealer has treated you with your truck purchase and service. If you could please vote on the poll and leave a message about where you purchased the truck from and if you would recomend them to someone else. Thanks

I bought my truck at Johnson Ford in Kingston N.Y. 12401. I am not happy with the service or sales people there. I feel that I did get a fair price for my trade in and the price that I paid was reasonable for the 2006, but the truck has already broken down after only 500 miles, costing me a job($450) and a client(the potential customer went with someone else due to my truck breaking down.) The truck didn't run right since I broght it home(test drive was fine) and I also noticed a cracked tail light. Called the sales person who said that it was probably water in the tank. Eventually it was running fine till it broke down on me(in the rain). Got the truck repaired(took two days/ 2 bad injectors) They didn't repair the tail light and the truck came back with a dent in the chrome bumper. Spoke with the General sales manager who said that he would reamburse me the $450 for the lost work. Still waiting for a call back from him a week later. I have called him about four times with no response. If I don't her back from him soon, I'm going to call the better business bureau. It's absolutly ridiculous that after spending $34,000 on a used truck(with a 169 point inspection performend) it breaks down on me after putting only 500 miles on it. You would think that Ford would want to give a better service because they are in the crapper as a business. The funny thing is...is that we the american people are going to bail out Ford,GM, and Chrysler, and they dont seem to learn from their mistakes. That's my 2 cents.

With my experiences here in Albuquerque, limited to just routine maintenance and questions. But with throwing in the sales dept.

Bought my 2008 F250 PSD from South Bay Ford (California). Wasn't happy with the way it all went down, and decided there's no way in hell I'd let them work on my truck if it ever needed service that I couldn't do myself (e.g., routine maintenance). I recently had trouble with my transmission (found grit on the transmission fluid dipstick), so I took it out to the good guys at Sunrise Ford (Fontana, California). It's a little over a one hour drive for me, but was well worth it.

Two thumbs up for Sunrise Ford. Bobby Williams FTW.

Mock's Ford in Grants Pass. They're great to deal with. The sales guy with the least seniority has been there 10 years. The service writers all listen to you and know what they're doing. The techs I've worked with were pretty good about questions. The lube guys knew what they were about, and take pride in their jobs. I haven't had the truck in for major work, but I sure wouldn't hesitate. If you have a service visit, a few days later Mrs Mock calls to see if it was OK. Family owned for over 50 yrs.

I'd recommend them pretty highly.

just to remind you the dealers dont make them or design them, they just sell them and fix them, its probly not their fault that your truck broke down, these engines are peices of sh!t and theyre pretty much what got ford in a little trouble. international makes the engine not ford, and after two junk engines ford is making their own now becuase they know theres allot of pissed off people because of these trucks.
ford isnt getting bailed out, they turned it down, only gm and crysler are getting money.

f bomb woodhouse ford blair ne

bought my 02 lariat crew 79k within a month fuel pump, starter, ful line and motor all went south.even with valid temp tags woodhouse tried to get me to pay for an engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!fought with them for two weeks they finally said ok well put a motor in if you pay 1000,so as a gesture of good faith i agreed, they tried to put a motor with 120k in it,which was 40k more than the truck had.i fought with them again finally they conceded and put a used motor with 50k in it.shortly after i had another breakdown and they said well trade you out of it,i thought great.only to find they tried to trade me into all their bottom of the barrel high mileage wore the [email protected] out stuff.i called the dealership wanting to talk to the owner only to get the director of operations who took the phone away from his ear and said "who wants to talk to this clown" to his salesman.what a poor example of a ford dealership who prides themselves on being the largest ford fealer nationwide.what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought from Tom Jones Ford in Buckeye (no city sales tax). This was our family's eighth new car/truck from them in a five-year span. But, they were smaller and hungrier for sales back then. In 2006, they took a take-it-or-leave it attitude with my two sons who turned around and bought two loaded 150 Lariats from Berge in Mesa.

The service writers, Scott and Mike treat me really great but I usually have to schedule an appointment a week or two out for any diesel repairs. Haven't had it in for over a year, but I still have an occasional oil drip which I suspect may be from the ICP replacement they did. Pioneer Ford is close to me too, and I hear they have a pretty good service department as well.

Hey guys, I'm happy to say that Johnsonford in kingston has finally treated me right. They have righted all of the wrongs, so I will have to change my original vote of "Both sales and service are bad" to "Sales and service are great!!"

I purchased my truck and wife's car from Fermont Ford, in Fremont, Michigan. Sales were great and their diesel tech was very good. Only had it back once and they fixed the problem right the first time. I have purchased 3 vehicles from them and will probably purchase my next one there as well.
