Re: 41" iroks or 40" ss16's or 14.50r20(43") or 14.00R20 (46")
My dilemma, I have been running 41" Iroks for the last 4 years, I got 25k out of them. I like the look, I don't like the noise. The SS16 offers a more highway friendly tire but only in a 40". Either types of interco tires will run me 2k.
Military tires, I can't seem to find a good set of 14.5R20, I am also unsure if they can be run safely on a 10" wide wheel. I have found mediocre sets 80-85% that will be around 900$ mounted. The 395/85R20 (14.00R20) can be had for $1200 mounted.
I really don't want to go down to a 40" tire. I think 1" will bother me. However I don't know if I want to run Iroks again. The 14.5R20 (43") I think would look nice, but again hard to find and still unsure if a 10" wheel is safe. The 14.00R20 (46") might be too big for my liking.
If only I could mount all 4 different types to make a decision.
I will post a few pictures of my truck. Please post your opinion of what you would do and why.
