Anyone done rear springs on a Superduty? I have one stach with 3 broken springs, and 2 are broke in 2 places, and are MIA.

Anything to watch out for? any recommendations? is this somthing I can do at home with a basic tool set and grinder? or are springs better left to the pros?

Plan on throwing 2 shocks at it at the same time. and if the price is right I may do front springs and shocks too.

I have not done a set on a super duty, but typically, it is not hard, just heavy stuff to handle. Be carefull not to drop something on you. I think if you are carefull, you will have no problem. I suggest you replace the u-bolts and nuts when you change springs. You will be glad you did when it is over.

that was the plan, just easier to cut them off and replace than fight with it.

Any alignment concerns on the axle? or just wing it?

I don't want to drive sideways.

It will align itself. The spring bolt will only allow the perch to sit in one location. No worries...
