My buddy, the Ford Tech, was looking at my truck and asked why I took my rear sway bar off. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif Truck never had one since i bought it used, he says he has never seen one without one. Did all Superduties come with rear swaybars? If so, how do i get one to replace the one that was obviously taken off of my truck. Price???

Your buddy is wrong. There are quite a few without them.

Mine being one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif.

I went to the wrecking yards to get a stock one. Once I saw how dinky they were, I gave up and started saving for a Hellwig.

My Ford Tech Buddy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif says the stock ones snap all the time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif.

I hear you there. The one on the front of my truck did just that (or the brackets holding it on did, anyway. Couple welding rods later, and poof, I had me a good bracket again. i think you're right, the Hellwig is probably the way to go.

My PSD did not come with one although it has the tow package, my understanding it only comes with the camper package, go figure. I now have a Helwig rear bar, big improvement over not having one. The model number is Hel-7636 162.39 from summitracing.com. My PSD is a 2002 regular cab 8' bed, handshaker /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

My 05 has one but not the camper package. I order the stabilizer package and got the rear stabilizer. I think all trucks should have front and rear stabilizer bars. Just my .02

Camper package gives you the rear bar, and off road package gets you front stabilizer on pre 2005's
