I have a 2000 Ex and my rear view mirror started leaking this chromatic fluid. Does anybody know where to buy an exact replacement or a place that repairs them. Its a Donnelly 011530 auto dimming mirror with a 3wire connector. ...Thanks

Mine has not been working and just started leaking, too. I just found one for a 2008-2009 on ebay that isn't too expensive but I'm not sure how much of a pain it would be to install. This mirror has a connector on the back. I don't think the one on my truck has a connector. If there is room under the roof panel to modify the connection or if a clean connection can be made in plain view behind the mirror it might be ok.

Same here....My mirror is leaking....only thing is I don't drive very much at night
so the photochromatic doesn't really help me that much....

I'd still like to fix it....

I checked Tousley's and they cost a good penny.....like couple hundred bucks...

Not sure it's worth it for that cost

I have limo tint on my rear window. So this auto-dim mirror has never been needed. Mine isn't leaking, but the fluid is clearly NOT where it is supposed to be. The bottom half of my mirror is a different color.

Is there anything else electronic associated with that mirror? If I simply replace it with a non-electric mirror and tape off and hide the connector in the headliner, will that affect anything?

Mine wasn't working, am going to cut wires and put a "normal" mirror in. I've already put a wider angle clip on over it I picked up at an autoparts store. Just a little wider but curved and I can see both blind spots at rear wheels. Really missed having it (had one on last truck) so I cut into the plastic on this mirror so I could clip one on. Stock mirrors view sucks imo...
