What would any of you all suggest as an exhaust upgrade for my 1996 f350. I have already replaced the down pipe and corrected the kitty. But I would like to completely replace the exhuast system to one that will be more effective at increasing fuel economy.

thanks,

Wonderdawg

Cat/Downpipe are the only restrictions, the stock muffler is a flow through so if you put bigger pipe on you wont notice any difference its just the "cool" and "sound" factors, which, with me it was worth it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Tymar Performance is where I got mine, give him an email, his name is Dale Isley, pretty highly reguarded around here, small dealer but pretty competitive prices and great guy to deal with.

I had the same set-up as you and just replaced with the Tymar turbo-back 4", down pipe starts at 3" and ends at 4" and then 4" back just like the oem. Can't say if it improved milage but I have noticed lower EGT's and its an easy do-it-yourself, Les.

Check out MBRPs web site. There is a 4" turbo back system available for the 94-97s. The downpipe is a 3" turning to 4" aprox 18" down. Its available in aluminized or 409 stainless. If you contact any of the venders on this site I'm sure the will hook you up.

I just installed a kit I got from Dale I. Went in with no problems. Love the sound, but haven't driven it enough to know more. Price was very resonable. Dale is great to deal with!!
