This may seem like a strange question but is there a way to let Ford know that I now own the vehicle I bought or is this done automatically when the vehicle is assigned to me through DMV. I just want to make sure they send me any recall notices, info on ESP plans or whatever. Thanks.

You can go to here https://myford.fordvehicles.com/ and signup, enter your VIN, and maybe get recalls etc...
