Hey there folks. I've recently run into some issue with my 1990 E350. I've just replaced the GPs and GP relay, and I'm unable to start. upon turning the key, I get a normal wait to start sequence, but following that I'm getting a series of clicks from the relay. it cranks, but doesnt start. The batteries are fine, and so are the GPs. Could it be the wiring harness for the GPs? or something to do with fuel lines?
Thanks a lot

Are you getting fuel to the injectors? Is everything primed? Is the fuel shut-off valve working? Make sure you have fuel at the filter discharge. Crack a couple of injector lines and see if there is fuel when cranking. With the key on, unplug the fuel shut off, listen for a click that tells you that the solenoid coil is functioning. If there is fuel at the injectors, don't worry about the fuel shut off. If you have fuel, then start checking voltages at the relay, both sides of the resistor right off of the relay (key on GP circuit active). You might need some help with that to be fast enough to get there with a meter. If you have voltage into the GP harness, then short of bad GPs it should start. You should be getting around 10 volts to the glow plugs If you have to, unplug each of them and check voltage. I usually find the trouble before I get much past the GP controller, and it usually turns out to be a loose connection. The series of clicks is normal. It will cycle for about two minutes depending on how cold it is. You can also watch your dash board voltmeter dip way down too.

I'll check the fuel systems. I think that may be the issue because when I first replaced the relay it started, but quickly died. Something must have been funky with the fuel, making it use whatever was in the lines and then die. as far as I know, the GPs, relay, and harness are fine. Could you quickly describe where I'll find the shut off valve? Thanks.

The wires on the driver's side of the IP. One plug is for the cold advance, and the other is for the fuel shutoff. I don't remember which is which, but you'll only hear one click when you un plug it.
