I installed the Partsexpress actuators in my 2000 CC about a year ago. Only a few months after installation, they started acting up again. I figured I should have cut the original wires to the stock actuators. So, I cut the two wires going to them this evening. Now that lock doesn't do anything. Has anyone else cut the wires? Which ones?

I just spliced into mine, I recently had to replace mine, but for the price, who cares, 7.50 per door every year.

This is why I recommend using the stock units. The $ saved ain't worth hacking into a perfectly good wiring harness. I don't really understand your question. There is only two ways to wire the actuator, the right way and the wrong, if it doesn't work, try switching the wires.
