Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screen for my overhead MPG display? Other than Ford.

The one in my truck is so faded you can only see it at night.

no help in finding one, but stay far away from ford on this one. my buddy had the same problem and went to the ealership for a fix, and got like a $700 quote...

The one in My 02 is about ready for replacement. I did the mod by cutting one wire, blue with red tracer, it is in the harness going into the display. This will eliminate the dimmer feature, with the lights on. I priced the replacement at My local Ford dealer, My discounted price, usually 25 to 30 percent off of list was $115.00. I would try the mod first, if that does not help, the console display is due for replacement.

This is actually the early stages of the console going out. Perform a search on the site and you find all kinds of information on the real problem - there are several small chips that work themselves loose and need to resoldered. If you can get to this before you lose them, you can salvage the unit. Otherwise, the dealer will need around $300 for a new one.
